Swope said this on the Dan Patrick Show:
“I think a lot of people were pretty shocked. You don’t see that every day, a white guy running a 4.3,”
“I’ve been compared to Welker,” Swope said. “I think that’s a huge compliment because Welker’s a great football player. . . . But I think people decide to make a white and white comparison.”

Meet Your Newest Seahawk: Darren Fells
Today the Seahawks signed some guy named Darren Fells, brother of Daniel Fells (Patriots) to a 3 year deal. This is the epitome of Pete & Johns thinking outside of the box ability. Darren Fells is 6'7", 280 lbs and comes to the Hawks as a former pro basketball player. Fells, 26, will take his shot (pun intended) at making the Seahawks preseason roster as a TE.
